We are all geared up for our annual Read-a-thon! Starting Thursday, January 12 with our biggest book in Israel challenge. Details below and on our site.
What is the Read-a-thon?
The Read-a-thon is an annual book reading contest. The Read-a-thon is for children of all reading levels, grades 1-6. The goal is to read as many books in order to donate the most money to A.H.A.V.A.
All you have to do is follow the guidelines below and start reading!!
Keeping with tradition, at the end of the Read-a-thon the top readers in each category will win amazing prizes!
DATES: The Read-a-thon will take place between January 12, 2012 and February 16, 2012.
SPONSORSHIP: You may ask anyone to be your sponsor.
Remember! The money raised will provide scholarships to needy A.H.A.V.A. students; and support for the Vicky Fickler Memorial Library, A.H.A.V.A.'s main teaching library resource.
THE AWARDS CEREMONY: Prizes will be distributed on March 15, 2012 at the Eshkol Hapayis of Maaleh Adumim.
